use case overview
In the use case section, we try to highlight through a series of abstractions what we require from the system but from the perspective or external uses.
It is an intentionally short section that can be consumed quickly. It serves as a refence point for scope and intent.
As with many of these documents they should be treated as living document and will be updated as we learn more about the system and its practical uses.
Currently we have three main use case sections
- Primary use cases: define the desired uses of the system at the highest possible level
- NSIT use cases: derived from the NIST activities related to trusted onboarding and Lifecyle management and approach the problem from a focussed security perpective
- Functional use cases: approach the problem from a classical functional decomposition point of view.
As the project matures, we will flesh out the primary business use cases, which will dovetail with focussed market requirements
